  • Imam Tarek
    Shariah

    Staff Imam: Guardian of Purity and Conscience

    In the HalalS Movement, the staff imam is **not a formality** and **not a “checkbox” for certification**.
    He is the **spiritual guardian** of production, logistics, and intention itself.

    His duty is **to the people—and to the Almighty**:
    - To **oversee** that every process—from sourcing raw materials to final packaging—fully complies with Shariah;
    - To **certify** that halal is not a word on a label, but a **reality in every molecule of the food**;
    - To **protect the niyyah (intention)**: ensuring that commerce never overshadows mission, and that aid never becomes a commodity;
    - To **serve as the voice of conscience** within the team—reminding everyone: we do not serve the market, but **Allah and His creation**.

    The imam in HalalS is **not an employee of a brand. He is a servant of Truth**.
    And before the Almighty, he answers **not for a stamp—but for the trust of millions**.

    Laboratory

    Laboratory Control: Science in the Service of Health**

    At HalalS, **no harmful or unsafe substance is ever allowed onto factory premises**—not in raw materials, not in packaging, not in processing aids.
    Our principle is clear: **health comes first**.

    And **no product leaves the factory without full laboratory analysis**.

    Leading the laboratory department is a **qualified in-house scientist** who personally approves every single batch based solely on **scientific and health criteria**.
    The lab verifies:
    — **Absence of harmful substances**—including hidden additives, allergens, or toxic residues;
    — **Microbiological safety**;
    — **Accuracy of declared nutritional content and shelf life**;
    — **Suitability for vulnerable groups**: children, the elderly, and those with health conditions.

    **Halal is not only “permissible.” It is “pure, beneficial, and worthy.”**
    Therefore, even if an ingredient is technically halal, **it will be rejected if it is unhealthy, misleadingly labeled, or nutritionally empty**.

    The laboratory **does not assess religious permissibility**—that is the imam’s duty.
    Its sole mandate is: **Is this food truly good for the human body?**

    If the answer is no—**the product does not go to market and is not sent as humanitarian aid**, regardless of religious approval.

    Because we are accountable **not only to the Almighty—but to every person who entrusts us with their health**.
  • Madina Tebieva
    Humanitarian
    Head of Humanitarian Affairs: The Voice of Those Who Cannot Ask**
    At HalalS, humanitarian aid is **not a “leftover from commerce.”**
    It is the **core of our mission**—and it is overseen by a **dedicated Head of Humanitarian Affairs**.
    His responsibilities are both **practical and spiritual**:
    - To organize the **direct delivery of 25% of all production** to regions of disaster, conflict, and chronic hunger—**with no intermediaries**;
    - To ensure **transparency and speed**: from the decision *“where to send”* to the confirmation *“the bread has reached”*;
    - To guarantee that aid **never humiliates**, but **restores dignity**—in packaging, in logistics, in every human interaction;
    - To coordinate with mosques, local communities, and trusted volunteers—**only where there is no corruption and no spectacle**;
    - To maintain meticulous records: **every container comes with a report—but never for show**.
    He does not distribute “charity.”
    He **fulfills the Amanah**—the sacred trust of Allah and of those who pay their Zakat directly to the factory.
    Because at HalalS, **humanitarian work is not a department. It is the conscience of the factory**.
